Project SafeGuard
At Linamar, we believe in caring for the communities in which we live and operate.
When the opportunity to help and support the mass immunization in our community, we were honoured to answer the call. The Project SafeGuard team was able to apply our expertise in high-volume advanced manufacturing to provide leading-edge care and create an efficient vaccination clinic showing how Linamar’s expertise in lean manufacturing can be used in the medical field. That allowed us to support the Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health to administer 57,024 vaccines and 7,522 boosters in our community.
The Project SafeGuard developed a playbook to share as a guideline with other companies interested in starting their own vaccination clinic.
