Linamar earns 2015 Ontario Employer designation from the Provincial Partnership Council

The Ontario Employer designation recognizes employers that support the futures of significant numbers of young people across the province through experiential learning programs. Every time an employer provides a student with the opportunity to gain work-related knowledge, skills and experience, they make a positive contribution to the quality of a young person’s life and career prospects. The designation recognizes and validates the efforts of employers that provide significant numbers of work-based learning opportunities for Ontario high school students, and for which their local communities, industry sectors and employees should be proud.

This award is possible because Linamar provides co-op opportunities, 12 apprenticeships to graduating students each June, as well as grade 12 machine shop classes at the Frank Hasenfratz Centre of Excellence in Manufacturing.
