WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I FILE A REPORT?

When you log onto the Ethics for Everyone Web site,
a series of prompts will instruct you on how to ask a
question or report an incident. Or, if you choose to use
the Ethics for Everyone phone line, a trained specialist
will take your information. With both options, your
report will be forwarded to a Linamar representative
who will ensure your report is dealt with.

• You will be requested to provide detailed
information about the incident you are reporting –
who, what, why, where, when and how. Your report
will be logged and you will be given a report key
and personal password. Due to reasons of
confidentiality, if you forget your password, we are
unable to supply it. You will have to re-file your
report and obtain a new password.

• You can remain anonymous throughout the entire
process if you wish, however it may prevent a
full investigation from being completed.

• If you filed a report by telephone or online, you will
be given a login and password that can be used to
check the status of your report. We encourage you
to do so as we may require additional information
from you to help with the investigation.

• Upon receiving the report, an acknowledgement
will be posted on the system within three business
days that the report has been received and that
it will be investigated.

• Each report will be sent to the Chief Financial
Officer (CFO) of Linamar for a thorough
investigation. Rest assured that all appropriate
personnel/supervisors/third parties will be
interviewed and all relevant information
considered. For legal and privacy reasons,
you will not necessarily be told any details of,
or results arising from, the investigation.

• You will be notified through the system once the
investigation is completed and the report is closed.

• Linamar will not tolerate retaliation against anyone
reporting an incident.
