Mr. Ahlborn joined Linamar in 2005, and is responsible for Linamar's mergers and acquisition activities, along with other non-organic growth opportunities. Additionally, as President of Mclaren Performance Technologies, Mr. Ahlborn is responsible for Linamar's automotive product engineering organization.

Prior to joining Linamar Corporation, Mr. Ahlborn worked in the automotive sector for nearly 20 years, starting at General Motors and including Deloitte & Touche Management Consulting and AG Simpson Automotive Systems.

Mr. Ahlborn holds an MBA from the Wharton School, an MA in International Studies from The University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) degree from DePauw University.
